LWC Drinks
Project Outline:
We are currently undertaking the upgrading of a former Jewsons depot in Northampton, including the project was also works to the outside yard and office area.
Manufacturing Technology Centre
Project Outline:
We were employed by the Manufacturing Technology Centre to provide a new Business meeting lounge area to the 2nd floor of their AMTC building.
Talbot Butler Ward
Project Outline:
We were employed by Northampton General Hospital to provide a new relative’s room complete with en-suite within the existing ward. Works were undertaken while the ward was “live” operating at full capacity.
Northampton University
Project Outline
In January 2016 we undertook works at Northampton University as the main contractor. The project was create an extension on an existing building, alongside refurbishment works
Grange Primary Academy
Project Outline No. 1
We were employed by Grange Primary Academy to undertake refurbishment works to their main hall and central corridors.

We were invited back by Grange Primary Academy to undertake refurbishment works to their old sports unit which was to be changed into new offices.
Barratt Kitchen - NGH
Project Outline
We were employed by Northampton General Hospital to undertake a refurbishment to their main kitchen facilities. Works within this project also included refurbishment and repairs to the Manager’s office, assembly rooms, male and female changing areas and the provision of a new staff room.
Stafford Leys Primary School
Project Outline
We were employed by Stafford Leys Community Primary School to undertake formation of new classrooms.
St. Andrews Cafe & Terrace
Project Outline
We were tasked with upgrading the facilities of the existing café and surrounding areas, a covered paved terrace for outside dining. New decorative access paths, raised planters and a lawn.

Leicester University
Project Outline
Our initial contract for the university was the upgrading of the DR room and surrounding offices and labs. The works comprised a complete refit of the surgical training dissecting room and the installation of a chilled 36 bay, body storage unit.

In February 2009 JW Turner Ltd. began work on the Green Corridor at Northampton General Hospital.

In autumn 2010 we worked alongside Kettering General Hospital to deliver a new birthing pool suite within their maternity ward.

We were invited to tender for the total refit of the main kitchen. With the assistance of 'Innox' the hospital preferred commercial kitchen installer the project was completed 2 weeks ahead of programme.

In April 2009 J W Turner Ltd. began work on providing a new kitchen, toilet and vestry to St Mary's church, Great Brington. Being situated within the main church itself, the design called for solid oak panelling throughout.

Leicester University
Our initial contract for the university was the upgrading of the DR room and surrounding offices and labs. The works comprised a complete refit of the surgical training dissecting room and the installation of a chilled 36 bay, body storage unit. Cost circa £300,000
Following on from the successfull completion of the DR rooms we were awarded various contracts, with the latest one being the refurbishment of student accomodation. This project involved a complete "make over" of 3 adjacent substantial properties during the summer recess. With the help of several local mechanical, electrical, flooring and decorating companies we completed the refurbishment within the 10 week contract period. Cost circa £750,000

Project Outline
J W Turner Ltd. was invited to carry out a complete refurbishment of a near derelict listed rectory within the Milton Keynes area, Buckinghamshire. The project also included the construction of a 200sq m + swimming pool extension. Cost circa £600,000

Project Outline
J W Turner Ltd was invited to tender for the construction of an extension to the cardio vascular clinic which is in the middle of the hospital. The extension was built within a fully enclosed courtyard with access only through the hospitals public corridors.
The foundations were installed using a screw in style of pile with a timber framed extension built above. A very interesting and challenging project as not only was it awkward to carry out but directly above was the recovery rooms for the operating theatres, so noise had to be kept to a minimum. Cost circa £250,000
Following on from the successful completion of this project we were again invited to build an extension in the central part of the hospital, to the linen store. Again this was in a most inaccessible area of the hospital with the only access again through the public corridors.
Due to the volume of spoil to be excavated we had to dismantle an excavator and pull it through the corridors (to avoid diesel fumes) and reassemble the machine on site. With the amount of spoil to be removed the groundworks, along with material deliveries had to be completed at night.
This project was completed on both time and budget. It rates as one of the most carefully planned projects we have completed. Cost circa £280,000

Project Outline
In July 2009 J W Turner Ltd began work on the Bereavement Suite at Northampton General Hospital.
Unlike normal Hospital projects, the Bereavement Suite was somewhat of a 'bespoke project'. Various designs and artworks were commisioned especially for the project, including that of a spectacluar stained glass window, captivating the beholder as they enter the suite.
The Bereavement Centre was finished on schedule in time for the Duchess of Gloucester to officially open the suite on the 29th September 2009.

In February 2009 J W Turner Ltd began work on the Green Corridor at Northampton General Hospital
With all new surfaces now wipeable, with some even containing anti bacterial properites, the new corridor is now not only aestheticly pleasing, it has also helped reduce the spread of Hospital borne infections such as MRSA and c. difficile.

Project Outline
J W Turner Ltd. was asked to construct a new court on the roof of the police station in the centre of Northampton. The main building works were carried out over night so as not to disrupt the normal running of the courts. This was certainly one of our most logistically challenging projects.
When finished the new court (number 6) looked superb, especially with the detailed oak features. Cost circa £350,000

Our main business is derived from smaller contracts with values of between £500 - £30,000. We are in the enviable position of having all of our workforce and regular subcontract firms, security cleared by the Police Authority.
With this clearance, clients can relax in the knowledge that not only will we strive to complete the project to their satisfaction, but they can be confident of having our operatives working on their property.

Structural alterations to the new commercial kitchen which had to be completed before the official opening. Cost circa £30,000
Granada (now Moto) Service Station Thurrock
Construction of 3 additional bedrooms for the hotel utilising part of the self service restaurant. Cost circa £120,000
Dublin Ireland
A few years ago, but we still talk about it today, was the installation of protection guards to the projectors in a cinema in the centre of Dublin.
Kuwait City Kuwait
Immediately after the first gulf war we were asked to fit out the office furniture to the Kuwait Ministry of Defence. This involved Tony Turner flying out twice and one of our carpenters being sent out for a few weeks.
